Positec’s Suzhou headquarters building was awarded the LEED-NC Platinum, the highest level of distinction awarded by the US Green Building Council on June 23rd, 2017. Compared to the “Oscar” in green building, LEED-NC (leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – New Construction) is the world’s authoritative and most influential green buildings verification system and showcases commitment to the environment and leadership. Positec headquarters earned the prestigious Platinum award by earning 85 points during assessment, which covers a variety of categories ranging from environmental impact during construction, operational sustainability and supporting occupant wellness. Only about 5% of buildings around the world achieve a platinum rating.
